VOLUNTEER BREIFING

- Elf Helpers/Personal Shoppers - Important to shop from proper age groups.  Do not let parents shop up.

- Be sure to check boxes off as parents select toys for each toy. 

- Engage with meaningful conversation. "What is____ favorite thing right now? Has ____asked for anything specific?, Are there any other needs your family has right now?, How can we pray for you and your family?"

- Be sure to make notes on Registration Slip.  We are not rushing, we want to make contact with these families in the future with new resources and services as they become available.


COCOA & COOKIE STATION


- Keep Station clean and fresh

- Wipe up any spills

- Serve Cocoa Very WARM not HOT

- Use utensils/NOT FINGERS for cocoa toppings

- Use Gloved hands to place cookies on Napkins

GIFT WRAPPING STATION


- Minimize waste when wrapping

- Engage in meaningful conversation, "What are some family traditions you have with your children?  Are there any fun Christmas activities you and your children do?, Tell me about your favorite childhood Christmas memory?"

TOY STATION HOST

- Only Refresh table with toys AFTER each shift to help parents move along.

- Stage and Spread Toy items around to appeal to shopper

- DO NOT pull Toys from behind while parents are shopping
