A Journey of Biblical Discipleship

At Heart of a Matter Ministries, we believe Jesus gave us more than a message to proclaim—He gave us a
model to follow.
Before commissioning His disciples to change the world, Jesus first invested in their hearts. He walked
beside them, shared life with them, taught them truth, challenged their thinking, demonstrated
compassion, and invited them to become more like Him.
His ministry was never centered around simply transferring knowledge; it was centered around transformation.
That same pattern is the foundation of Ambassador’s Academy.
Ambassador’s Academy is an intentional discipleship journey designed to help believers grow into mature
followers of Jesus Christ who are equipped to influence their homes, churches, workplaces, and
communities with the love and truth of God’s Kingdom.
This is not simply another Bible study, leadership course, or educational program.
It is a process of spiritual formation.
It is an invitation to follow Jesus more closely, discover your God-given purpose, build authentic
relationships with fellow believers, and be equipped to live as an Ambassador of Christ every day.
Our Vision
Our vision is to restore the biblical model of discipleship by creating an environment where believers
experience genuine transformation through relationship, accountability, biblical teaching, prayer, and
practical Kingdom living.
We believe discipleship is more than attending weekly meetings—it is learning to live as Jesus lived, love as
Jesus loved, and serve as Jesus served.
As disciples grow, they become disciple-makers, multiplying the life of Christ into the lives of others.
This is how movements begin.
Our Foundation
Jesus’ ministry followed a clear pattern:
He called people into relationship.
He formed their character.
He equipped them through experience.
He sent them into the world with purpose.
Ambassador’s Academy follows this same biblical progression.
Rather than emphasizing information alone, we prioritize heart transformation, authentic community, and
practical application so that what is learned is lived.
Our guiding principle is simple:
Being Before Doing
Healthy ministry always flows from a transformed heart.
Before God calls us to lead others, He first shapes our character.
Before He sends us into the world, He first teaches us to walk faithfully with Him. Everything in Ambassador’s Academy is designed around this principle.
The Discipleship Journey
Ambassador’s Academy is a 32-week discipleship pathway consisting of eight four-week courses that
intentionally build upon one another.
Each season prepares participants for the next, allowing spiritual growth to happen naturally through
consistent relationships and practical application.
Rather than rushing toward leadership, participants are invited into a process of becoming.
The journey unfolds through three phases.
Formation
The first phase focuses on developing a strong spiritual foundation.
Participants grow in their identity in Christ while cultivating trust, accountability, prayer, biblical
understanding, and healthy spiritual disciplines.
Transformation begins within the individual before extending into community.
Integration
As spiritual maturity develops, participants begin living out what they have learned within authentic
Christian community.
Relationships deepen, gifts emerge, leadership develops, and disciples learn to serve together with
humility, unity, and purpose.Faith becomes increasingly visible through action.
Deployment
Graduation is not the completion of discipleship—it is the beginning of a life of intentional Kingdom
influence.
Participants are commissioned to live as Ambassadors of Christ, serving within Heart of a Matter Ministries,
strengthening their local churches, impacting their workplaces, and bringing hope to their communities.
Disciples become disciple-makers.
Covenant Relationships
One of the distinctive features of Ambassador’s Academy is its relational design.
Each Academy consists of twelve participants, intentionally reflecting the model Jesus established with His
disciples.
During the opening weeks, each participant is prayerfully paired with another disciple in a covenant
partnership built upon four foundational principles:
• Trust
• Accountability
• Prayer
• Shared Life
These relationships remain together throughout the Academy, creating a safe environment for
encouragement, spiritual growth, honest conversation, and mutual support.
As the Academy progresses, covenant pairs gradually unite into groups of four, then six, and eventually the
full community of twelve.
This intentional progression reflects the belief that healthy Kingdom movements are built through healthy
relationships.
More Than a Program
Ambassador’s Academy is not designed to produce graduates. It is designed to develop lifelong disciples.
Upon completion of the Academy, participants continue their journey through the HOAMM Base—a
community of believers committed to ongoing discipleship, ministry, outreach, mentorship, and Kingdom
service.
Graduation marks a transition from being equipped to actively living out God’s calling in partnership with
others.
The journey continues through opportunities to mentor future participants, serve in ministry initiatives,
lead outreach efforts, and help multiply disciples throughout our region and beyond.
