Honoring Freedom. Celebrating 250 Years. A Community United.

The 8th Annual Community IMPACT Event will look a little different this year — and we couldn’t be more excited.

In years past, Community IMPACT has mobilized volunteers across our region for service projects. In 2026, as our nation marks the 250th anniversary of American independence, we are setting aside this moment to do something equally powerful:

We are coming together to honor and remember the heroes who have protected the freedoms Americans have experienced for the last 250 years.

This special gathering, Honoring Freedom, will unite veterans, families, civic leaders, faith communities, and neighbors in a public expression of gratitude and remembrance.

What to Expect

Recognition and appreciation of local veterans and civil servants
A patriotic program and moments of reflection
Dedication of a Veterans Memorial Park Bench
Opportunities to connect with organizations that serve veterans
Live music, fellowship, Hamburger Luncheon and a family-friendly atmosphere

Whether you have served, love someone who has, or simply want to say thank you, this event is for you.
